wondering if anyone is shooting a 300 win mag necked to 7mm, no other changes, getting ready for my next build looking at alternatives, done the stw thing many times,,,looking for 3000fps for a 180 berger, 7 dakota except for rim diameter and bolt face, besides brass price.... i would really like to do a 7-375 ruger, i think brass forming and inside neck reaming would be problamatic, now if we had a 338 ruger .....maybe just a factory 7 rem mag for know,,,,

I could be wrong, but I think this is the 284 Jarrett. Check out their website.

Broz, I missed that and it was a great read. Your friend must have some superior negotiation skills to have got that one away from you!

Great Caliber. Better than a 7mm wby and much cheaper to shoot. Much more efficient than a 7mm ultra. Not the same as a 284 Jarrett(different shoulder angle) We are getting 3100 out of 180 Bergers. It is one bad cartridge.

Like I said, "could be wrong" :D. Thanks for clearing that up.

I shoot a 300 WM and love it (mostly :D). I need to try one of these one day.

3100fps with 180's in what barrel length jbn?
