Want to buy remington 700 long action bottom metal hinged floor plate. Preferably not stainless. Thanks in advance.

PT&G make either aluminium or blued steel one piece bottom metal. I have used dozens of them, mostly stainless, but have used the others for customers wanting lighter options.
Have never had an issue with any of them.

Never tried Snowy Mountain, but have used PT&G and Hawkins. I'd give the edge to the Hawkins.
