7 PRC Build...your thoughts

For some who don't like belted cases, over bored cartridges, excessive recoil, lack of brass availability, limited barrel life and etc., I would think this cartridge would fill that sweet spot in the 7MM caliber. Maybe?
Lol, brass isn't even available and there is people ****ing straight up about it.
I honestly think it's gonna be the sweet spot for 7mm but it's to early now. I could also stand to not see anymore of these 7 PRC threads like there is already a bunch of them.

Then don't open and read if it upsets you so much. Some enjoy seeing other folks views and opinions. Good day

For your 50-500yd hunting requirement, going from 6.5prc to 7prc gains you nothing other than more recoil. Put a suppressor on your current rifle and spend the money on lots of ammo for practice...

We've done a lot of testing and shooting the 7PRC. It's been really good. The recoil is very manageable and we've had luck at the Nightforce ELR match and hunting Elk in Colorado with it running factory ammo.

Did a short article as well on powders charges and 180 ELD-Ms. We shot 190 A-Tips at NF ELR. Hope it helps with your decision.

How can recoil be much different than other cartridges with similar performance? Any difference is likely perceptual and/or based on stock fit and design.

If those numbers are repeatable in multiple rifles then it's a real sweet spot for capacity in the 7mm.

I'm trying not to jump on the bandwagon but that's very compelling numbers.

Just listened to that in the car. Very informative. I would have liked to have heard more details about various barrel lengths and performance like HCR did but it was excellent on how the cartridge was designed and how it fits in versus other 7mms.
