Couple of questions and comparison questions.
What is the case capacity of the 300 PRC.?
If loaded relativity the same for speed and accuracy can the 300 Win mag produce the same results if also using the same barrel twist?
Has anyone built a 7-300PRC yet? I have seen a few post on the internet that this is basally the 7mm LRM.
How do you think a 7mm 300 Win would compare to the 7-300 PRC?

case capacity is about 96 grains.
I have the 28 SM which is based on the 300 prc and can tell you that the WM wont begin to keep up! The 30 SM will reach up to 3300 with a 215 and RL33 so we feel the new 28 version should reach 3200' easily with a 195.
The std prc would be less but still considerably higher than a WM

Its the 28 SM (Sherman Magnum) based on the 300 prc. 20 grain; increase over the Max and runs at 3.7+ coal

Interesting stuff. I think the support behind the 30PRC will be much more than any behind the 300 RUM. Looking at some other options down the road when my Rum wears out.
