6mm bullets for hunting

As long as you're getting good accuracy with the 85 Sierra GK why not use it? Not a fancy new bullet, I've killed everything from Prarie dogs to whitetails with them. They just plain work. If it ain't broke don't fix it!
I plan on using the 85gr bthp until I run out of them. May even buy more of them. Just wanted to see what other people are using and what the results have been. I'm honestly surprised at the distances some are shooting them with the little 6mm.

I shot quite a few deer and hogs with a 22-250 but they were mostly inside 150 yards. I've mostly shot 308 and 300winmag for the last fifteen years or so. The little 243 is impressing me so far.

I tested some Hornady 103 ELD-X today in a 20" 6CM. I think they shot surprisingly well in a factory Springfield 2020 Waypoint.

Not bad for a 20" 6CM. Zero pressure signs.
