6-6.5x47 Small Primer for hunting?????

Hey guys,
I am wanting either a 243 win or a 6x47 lapua for hunting, but could the small primer be a bad thing for hunting? What are your thoughts? Is the only plus of the small primer, that the case can be pushed to higher pressures without blowing the primer?

The 6x47 lapua is a good cartridge I use mag small rifle primers and have not had any problems hunting in cold weather.
