I finally got to play with some Reloader 26 in my 6.5x284. Using Lapua brass CCI primers 143 ELDX. Was 70 degrees out. 800 ft elevation 70% humidity. At the 56.9 I felt the bolt getting heavy so I quit. Are these numbers inline with anyone else out there?

There are some great threads on the 6.5x284 with lots of info from greyfox who seems to be the resident expert. The concensus seems to be that with 140 class bullets 2800 to 3000 fps is the sweet spot for accuracy. I would say that at that heavy bolt lift and the speed you are overpressure. Looks like you had a really good SD lower anyway. I let the bullets show me where my gun wants to shoot. I also use h4831sc in 3 different guns in 6.5x284. One likes 2800fps another 2850 and the last 2890. I get ejector marks on 2 of these rifles and took them all higher but accuracy fell off over 3000fps.

I wouldn't think your brass would last very long shooting over 3k...3 or 4 loads before pockets open or head separation...
...but if you don't mind..just watch for the shiny ring around your brass about 5/8" above the head....
