Looking for advice from someone smarter than myself. I'm wanting to build a 6.5 Sherman Short using a savage model 12 LRP as the basis. I'm planning on running the factory barrel for now. Rifle will start as a 6.5 creed. I know I will need a magnum bolt head and a new magazine. I think the magazine from a 12 lo pro varmint will work. Any problems with my plan?
