6.5 300 Saum load

Have any of you guys used Retumbo in a 6.5 Saum. Can't find h1000. Retumbo seems easier to find here. Rifle is throated for 140 vlds 26" barrel.

Yes start at 62 grains and go up from there. Ramshot magnum works good too. 63 grains on that powder

Just out of curiosity and a fondness for 6.5mm cartridges. What are you generating for velocity with a 6.5 SAUM.

3100 fps 140 berger low pressure load.h1000
Can easily get 3350+

I'm using 64gns Retumbo with 130gn Acubonds or 127gn Barns LRX for 3300fps (hot load in my rifle)

And 61gns Retumbo with 140gn SSTs or Accubonds 3150fps (no pressure signs yet)
Custom Remington 26inch barrel

Haven't tried H1000 yet
