So my build is a Remington 700 action 26"Lilja barrel
My load
25/06 brass
143 ELDX
FED 215 primers
RL 26 55.1 gr
Velocity is 2975 to 3000 fps
With no signs of pressure am I close to getting the full potential out of this gun/caliber

Is this your fireforming load on new .25-06 necked up?

What is the seating depth or OAL of your loaded cartridge using the 143 ELD-X bullets?

Great cartridge, it's been around for decades but is in obscurity lately, but takes no backseat to any of these new fangled fly by night Johnny come latelys.....I remember a gunsmith in Brockway, PA clambering for it back in the 60's...it was used a lot at the early Williamsport 1000 yard matches. Using the Lapua /06 casings, H-4350, a 9 1/2 primer and a good hunting bullet it will handle anything you can hit at most hunting ranges...great cartridge that should be in the limelight ...

You are probably getting close but may have a few more fps available. That being said, if it Shoots like that consistently, I'd leave the load alone and go fill an ark.

Your looking good, stretch it out and may try a standard LR primer and see what happens.
You have a little horizontal dispersion in your target, 500 will tell you more.

I'm getting 3075 fps in my 6.5x06. 140gr Nosler AB & Rel 26. 24" bbl , 1/8 twist. Win Reformed 25-06 brass, CCI #250 primer. No pressure problems & accurate. You should be able to get at least another 75fps. Have been shooting this load for some time.

Velocity wise, my old 24.5" Hart barreled rig would get me around 2950 fps with RL26 and a 140 vld. It was quite accurate and I felt no need to look for more speed. Stuff died well with it. I'd not worry too much more about 100 yard accuracy and would stretch that to 400-800 yards to see what you have. Or I'd shoot a 10 round group at 100 to double check rifle zero.

In these times of limited powder resources, RL22 and H1000 also performed well in it just so you have options if Rl26 dries up.

The short answer to your question is yes. However, there is an unknown set of information that might help you to refine your load, i.e., per @sable tireur post.
