45:90 Brass for 45:100

Hello:
I recently acquired a 45:100 Pendersoli Sharps. I have an 1886 "newer"Winchester in 45:90
As there appears to be a small difference in case length I d like to know if it been practiced before and secondly advise able to use the 45:90 case and seat the bullet longer rather than buy new 45:100 brass.

I'm sure down the road I can acquire some brass etc but I believe it would be acceptable in the interim… Please feel free to comment

case difference is .200".....2.4-2.6" can it be done yes would I do it, no. It will cause leading and or make it inaccurate. usually you can find some brass on Gunbroker
