I hear you on the factory ammo. I took a hiatus from reloading and shot Factory Ammo in 30-06 for close to a decade.

Nothing like makin' yer own though - 120's at 3400 sounds awesome

A very rewarding practice to have, for sure.

The 120s at 3400 have only about 19" of drop at 400, so they're fairly flat shooting and mild too. The only downside is a .373 BC doesn't really help a lot with wind.
