375-500 jeffery

I have a 1 in 7 twist rock creek barrel and can get a bunch of 500 jeffery brass at a good price.What can this caliber do with the 400 gr CE bullets?Thanks for any info

It can do quite a lot.

For my first go around, I have a 12 twist and a case design with about 30 grains more capacity.

The 375-500 Jeffery is about 10grains bigger. Good for about 50fps with that CEB 402 MTAC from what QL says.

Ok thanks.That will help a lot I haven't been able to find much about it.Having a bunch of brass one hand may offset the little bit lower velocity it gives up to some of the other cases I've been looking at.

From what I have found it should work fine in a action like a stiller tac 338 too right?

I was going to use a Weatherby Mark V action so I'm sure it will work in a TAC338
