338 Win Mag to 338/375 Ruger

Can a 338 win mag rifle be rechambered to 338/375 Ruger? I am looking for an inexpensive way to start working with the 338/375 conversion while building up a totally custom rifle.
 
Inexpensive will probably end up meaning an A&B or ER Shaw barrel blank. Not sure you will have enough meat to just re-chamber to the new wildcat. That would depend on some factors that others here will know more about than I.

P.S. I do not try to promote either of the above barrel choices, but you did say Cheap Start, and those are cheap. Some times you get a good barrel too. I have heard (_Hear-Say_) that the new ER Shaw barrels actually Tend Towards Decent (not fantastic) shooters.
