I am going to build a 338 snipetac I would like to build it as light a possible without sacrificing any accuracy I am going to use the stiller 408 1.450 repeater action manners t4 90% carbon stock.
The biggest problem I have is getting info on the barrel taper i should use does anyone have any info in which taper will work well but not weigh a tonne ?
I have seen that David viers uses the abs barrels but me being in Australia it takes a long time to get them here and I want to make a start first thing in the new year
I have also noticed he uses the Idaho profile but can't seem to get any info on that barrel taper .
Anyways what suggestions do you guys have for me ?
