Sub .5moa? What powder? I've gotten into the .6's but just not repeatedly, and definitely not the upper node but 2850 is too hot In my rifle

With the Berger 250g I'm getting 0.23 groups with 62.8g N550 @ 2750. 26" Proof 9.4 tw

Looks slower than 550 and faster than 560. I think I'll try it. H4831sc is one of my favorite powders too.I tried N555 and couldn't get good velocity.

I built a 338 max awhile ago. Due to powder unavailability, I tried what I had, which didn't work at all. Those are IMR 4064, Accurate 4350 and N560. All too slow. Don't bother. Everything under 2600fps.
I did get some RL17 which is what I'll be running after these results. Bullet is a 225gr Badlands Bulldozer with a COAL of 3.250
66.2gr - 2808fps
66.3 - 2828
66.5 - 2852 Signs of pressure
66.7 - 2933 Over pressure
I settled on the 66.2gr load which grouped the best. SD 6 ES 14.
I did get some RL17 which is what I'll be running after these results. Bullet is a 225gr Badlands Bulldozer with a COAL of 3.250
66.2gr - 2808fps
66.3 - 2828
66.5 - 2852 Signs of pressure
66.7 - 2933 Over pressure

Update on the 338 max
My barrel has gotten a little faster
250 berger 62.8g N550 2800 fps
New load
213g hammer hunter 64.7g N550 2995 fps
Three separate loads under 1/2 moa up to 3025 fps, went with the lowest ES. Maxed out at 66g

OK, folks. Steve at Hammer Bullets has been getting requests for load data on Hammer Hunter bullets. There is an extensive spreadsheet for Absolute Hammer Load Data developed and shared by members on this Forum. Data for Hammer Hunters is on the Hammertime Forum, but it has not been placed...
The Max is just a bit to low capacity for those powders in the n560 range. The Mega is where you cross the line for those as its vol is 338winmag.
I have the Mega not Max. I would think h100v n550,, rel 17. N560 might work but I would think you would need a 6-8" drop tube with 250s bt junc 0.1 into the neck if you have the room. Maybe the 250 EOL.

I can confirm N560 is worthless in the 338 max. Even with the drop tube. Not worth the time to try it. RL17 and N550 are what you want.

N555 won't pressure up either. Hybrid 100v works but my rifle likes the N550
