Anyone have a load for 338 rum shooting h1000/250AB?

98 grains works in mine, Federal 215 primer. That's top of the book from Hodgdon, should get you 2900 fps.
I checked loaddata.com to refresh my memory, and that load is at the top of what's listed, by significant amounts compared to some, and it's with the Hornady spitzer bullet.
I was using Federal Nickel Plated cases, and I find it's comparatively tough.

With RP cases I ran 94.5 with the newer h1000 lots to get to 2900 fps. When I switched to Nosler brass I went with a retumbo/CCI250 load of the same charge for 50 additional fps In my XCR2. Both .090 off the lands. BTW, the Nosler brass is far better than Rem both in quality and availability.
My favorite load for my XCR is a 225 TTSX at .050 off with 89.3 grains of MRP and a Fed 215 in Nosler brass. This one runs 3100 fps and produces tiny groups.
