I have several custom rifles but this is my first build and I am really learning a lot. I have so far Hart 30" barrel, mcmillon xtr stock, trigger tech trigger and have decided on the defiance devient action which one will be decided with the answers I get on this question. I have to decide on single shot or Mag feed which is what I prefer. From what I am understanding if I go with a mag feed I will not be able to use the case to its full capacity due to bullet seating depth. IE: if I seat a 300gr Berger just off the lands my OAL will be to long to mag feed. Am I just misunderstanding what i am reading or if not Is there a fix for this?
