OK gents,
I would like to use a 300gr pill but what I am reading, length will be an issue if used as a repeater which is what I would like (clip fed). I would like to stay away from compressed loads. Who makes a bottom metal and clip large enough to accommodate. Thanks

What action do you intend to use?

What seating length are you trying to achieve?

What do compressed loads have to do with any of this?

The term you need to be using is 'magazine' not clip. They are two completely different feeding arrangements and you mean magazine.

There is a company named Accurate Mag which sells bottom metal and magazines for the .338 Lapua that can use an OAL of 3.850":

To avoid compressed loads with this combination seated at 3.850" you can use a full case of Re-25 and nearly full case of IMR-7828.
