338 lapua, AI or XC?

What's the most practical overall for a mile? I'm not sure where to go when my standard barrel is shot out.
I'm not looking at velocity alone, all factors for a hobbyist. If I was competing, the choice would be clear to me.

Any of the three will do it easily. The standard Lapua is the easiest and all that's needed for 1800. The improved offers better performance and brass life and the XC is the best option for beyond 2200 IMO.

Like VLD pilot stated you cant go wrong with any of them.. I've had all of them

the XC being the shortest barrel life of the 3 by half

My choice would be the 338 Improved

I'm thinking the improved just because of the stockpile of brass I've accumulated.
Probably cheaper than XC brass anyway.
That XC is sexy though.

Before I'd go into a 33XC I'd do either the 37XC or 375 Cheytac
