338 300 Hybrid

Hi every body,

I want to try the berger 300 hybrid in my trg-42...Someone have a good point to start...powder and seating depth...lightbulb

What is the chambering Lapua? If so, I would start at 89 gr of H-1000 and work toward 92 grains in 1/2 gr steps. I start seating at .030" off the lands. Then try going in .010" and out .010" and see if it gives you a direction. In my Lapua the Hybrids were not fussy about seating depth, so I setteled for where they had the best ES and that was .015" off the lands.
