Those powders is what I would consider as the slow end of the powders for the 338-06.You will probably find as much as you can stuff in the case and still seat your bullet is going to be your load.I have found the 338-06 quite easy to load for. With the 200gr using H-4350 or Reloader-17 start at 60grs and keep going up.I'm wanting to use H4350 or reloader 17.

Good evening, is your 338-06 the standard or AI version?View attachment 154509 I really like the 200gr bullets with this cartridge.I am using a WLRM primer in all my loads. That 180gr seems to be able to get around 3000fps,the 200gr around 2800fps and the 210gr around 2725fps or so.I was able to get it to shoot good with the 4350 powder. The 210gr Partition bullet is a harder to push than the 200gr Accubond of Ballistic Silver Tip.It seems to pressure up a little quicker so keep that in mind working loads for it.That was one reason I went with the 200gr Accubond.I can easily get 2800fps and a better B.C.,so I figured I wasn't giving up too much to the 210 Partition.I think it's easier to get to shoot well than the Partition too.
