30cal 4 groove tubes and thin bullet jackets?

Hey fellas, any thoughts about 4 groove barrels imparting damage to thin jacketed match type bullets?

I was having a discussion with a well respected hunter/shooter and he suggested either 5 or 6 groove tubes instead.

In the mists of building another 300Winnie on a spare 700 action.

Thoughts?

I ran my 30/375 S.I. with a 4 groove Krieger up to 3200' with 215 Bergers with zero issues.
