Ok I know that I don't have the correct twist rate to shoot the 210 vld but I am wondering if anyone has ever tried the 210s in a 12 twist tube?

What should I expect if I do shoot them? I will single shoot them.

I shoot them in an 11.25" twist .308, and mine shoots ****-near 1-hole groups. But 11.25 is alot closer to the recommended 11" twist, than 12" twist.

I have been thinking of trying some in my 26" .30-06 AI that has a 12" twist, just to see if they'll stabilize. If I do try some, I'll let you know how it goes.

I and a few others have shot the 215's out of a 1:12, which is nearly .1 longer, and they stabilized. In my case accuraccy wasnt spectacular but they hit pointy end first.

The guys shooting British Match Rifle mostly use 1:10 twists for the 190-210 projectiles but they are shooting at 1000/1100/1200 yds.
But as always there are always exceptions , guy I knew since passed , won a lot of F Class matches shooting .308 155's from a 1:10.

Mike.
