.308 bullets

I'm going to start reloading with a friend next week but I can't decide on what bullets to use,what is a good bullet that dosn't cost a arm and a leg.gun)

fist of all what caliber,what are you hunting and how far are you shooting?for whitetails at 0 to 300 yards in a 308 win or 30-06,i use 150 sierra game kings.they work welll.longer ranges need better bullets,hence the cost is higher.no bullets are cheap anymore.jason
