300SAUM starting ideas

I use a 20" barrel 300saum with 168 Nosler Ballistic Tips a lot (with a suppressor). Best velocity and accuracy combination is R17, followed closely by N550. It is a wonderfully well mannered case that is easy to get to perform well. I achieve 3000fps with the R17 and 2900 with N550.

The .300 RSAUM is a great cartridge, I've used it for a lot of LR-type shooting over the years and took it to Raton NM one year for the matches. So... I'd be in the H-4831 or 4831SC camp, but I think I'd move up to bullet weight to the 190gr range. Good luck, Cheers
