300 winmag @ 400yrds

Had a great shooting day at the range yesterday. The conditions were
elevation = 4525ft
wind was out of the south 15mph
This is the 4 shot group with my 300 winmag


i am going to start to stretch her out a bit

78 grns of RL22, 165 grn sierra boattail. just using these to practice because i got 1 box of 100 for $5.00. 3.50 Coal.

I am thinking of rebarreling one of my rifles to 300 Win mag. I had one a while back and really liked it. Post a photo of your rifle if you get a chance and do let us know as you walk her out to distance.

She is a Weatherby vanguard bedded in a boyds thumbhole with a millet buck gold 6-25 x56 scope. I love this gun and love shooting it.
