Hi all
I have recently purchased a Mark V Ultra Light Weight chambered in 300Wby, I have a 300Win that I have loaded for a fair while and always used CCI250 primers lighting AR2225 (retumbo) or AR2217 (H1000).
In Australia the chances of getting primers now is next to impossible and magnum primers is even harder to find. In these stupid times of components shortages I am left with 25 CCI250 primers however I have 1000+ CCI200 primers.
I want to load Barnes 168 TTSX over either AR2209 (H4350) or AR2213sc (H4831) and use standard CCI200 primers. Where I hunt the temperature does not get below 0 degrees celsius (only very early morning before sunrise) in the middle of winter and I figure sticking with a quicker powder should work better.
Any thoughts would be appreciated and those that have done this their input is of course welcome.
All the best
John
