300 ultra

Curious here….anyone use the 125 accubonds out of a 300 RUM? I'd run them 3,800 or so. Max is 3907. Merely curious is all.i know that's fast as hell

Whitetail with 125Accu. Quarter size entry tennis ball exit, dropped like a bag of hammers,
Maybe 120yds.

My buddy hunts whitetail with his 300 RUM. 180 scirocco II's. This fall when we was skinning his buck both front shoulders came off with the hide. Another guy asked what the heck are you using. He smiled. 300 ultra mag. All you gotta do is get close.
Dead is dead but ………..

I've shot several bears and maybe a dozen deer with 180 accubonds, but really want to try the 125 grain pills

I shot them out of my 30-338 running 3450 for elk one year, stay off the shoulder and the effects are ugly. Shot three that year from 275 to 540, no mistaking a hit, unmistakable KA WACK and massive jelly action!

180 TTSX in 300 prc does a number, i can only imagine what an even lighter bullet would do.

Impact was quartering to, high shoulder / lower neck, slight downward trajectory. About 120 yards.

The Barnes completely came apart. Main exit was...large...on the bottom of the ribs, off side. A large portion exited mid ribs on the impact side. A small portion exited above the off side shoulder through the spine.
