Does anyone have a good recipe for 220 MK in the 300 ultra?

90-95 grains of 50BMG.

I use H1000 for the 220 gr bullets. Noslers can go 2900 fps.
I have some hornady 220 gr bullets loaded and shot 4 thru my conograph. They did 2865 fps.Got my load out of Nosler load book. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Try 85-89 grains of retumbo. I don't have any chrono data but 89 is shooting excellent in my gun.

I used H-1000 when I tested and shot the 220g SMK. I will have to get my book out and see the data. Yep, 88g of H-1000, CCI BR-2, yes I know its only a large rifle primer, but it works!! OAL was 3.750" My data book shows 3025fps with a 1.3" 3 shot group at 300 yards. I also have a couple loads from others that have shot very well in there rifles, its off accuratereloading. Try 90-91g of Retumbo. Or 88g to 92g of H-1000. All those loads were under .5". Hope this helps.

I'm shooting 85 gr Retumbo under a 240 SMK. I would say that 89 gr load is looking about right.
