2nd Retumbo - my favorite up to 215's.

Others that I've used:

RL 25 if you can find it.

7828 is accurate, but about 120 fps slow

Never tried it but LRT might work as well.

I run the 230atips in mine and have had best results with h1000, n570, and ramshot grand no joke. The grand is slightly faster than h1000 and same accuracy. I worked lrt for a while had velocity close to n570 but the accuracy was just never found. Would have been fine for hunting out to 500yds but for whatever reason from there out it spread out badly no idea why. N570 is a great powder but it is rough on the 300rum barrel as the rum alone is hard on a barrel lmao. Retumbo for me just never was the answer over 200g pills had good velocity but once again accuracy just wasnt as good.

Look on Hornady site...they generally list loads that aren't published anywhere else... especially on A-Tips and you should use the atip seater plug for best results...works for all ELR style projectiles

You have a window of 70 grs min -79 grs max

RL33, but be careful. It is some strange stuff sometimes. Like gee, I'm shooting 105g of RL33 and a 230....HMMNNN. Maybe not so good...closer to 100g is ok. Retumbo is good.
