For a factory Sendero 1/10 twist , Wyatts mag box installed.

I have plenty of H1000 and Retumbo. Also Plenty of CCI 250s, BR2s, Fed 215s and Remington Brass and all the above bullets mentioned.

Share your loads with me if you don't mind as much detail as you care to provide would be great hopefully to include.

Bullet/Powder/Charge/Primer/FPS/COAL & accuracy.

**I sincerely appreciate it and know in advance that no one is condoning my use of your load , your start point or you max and hereby state that I am responsible for all my reloading actions and recipes. **

Same gun but no mag box. I have not done that mod yet. Also has a break and trigger work.
300Rum
230 berger OTM
fed 215M
89.4 grains retumbo
OAL 3.79
2944 FPS
Last time I checked on a bench I had .7 MOA at 200 yrds.

Mine is a custom Stiller, Manners, Krieger 28.5" 5R chambered by Northwest Action Works. The OCW method worked to perfection with this combination.

230 Berger Hybrid Target .060 off the lands
87.3 grains Retumbo
Nosler/Norma brass: I have found that this RUM brass requires ~ 2 grains less powder than RP brass to reach equivalent performance. I would expect RP brass to come in at 89.3 grains of Retumbo.
Fed 215M
Best back to back groups measured <2" at 575 yards to finalize load development
3000 fps single digit ES ranging from a low of 2998 to a high of 3005 fps

Another node in this rifle is at 85.2 grains of H1000 for a velocity of 2950 fps with a 15 fps ES with all other components the same as above.

+1 for the 230 Bergers and H1000. Start at 84 grains and work your way up. Remington brass with the 230's touching the lands. Shoots a single hole at 100 and three inches at 800.

I have been running the 168gr TTSX out of my 300 RUM and before that the 168 TSX. To date this load has killed 6 moose, 5 black bear, 4 caribou, and one unlucky grouse. Ranges from 80-519 yards the results have always been the same, dead critter. This bullet has proven unstoppable even ran one stem to stern thru a large bull moose at 200 yards. Thats 5+ feet of penetration thru a lot of meat. I shot a large bull caribou at 519 two years ago with the 168 TTSX, text book performance, broken shoulder and decent sized exit wound. With the performance I have gotten with this bullet I don't see any reason to step up to the 180gr TTSX.

168gr TTSX
96.0gr Retumbo
Fed 215
COL 3.675"
3340fps

I had run the 230 with 91 h1000. Shot real well thru my 300 rum custom with brux 26" I shoot the Berger 215 with 92 h1000 and it shoots unreal. I would recommend trying the 215 Berger.gun)

I have the same senders set up in 300 RUM. I get .339 group with 185 Berger vld.
Nosler brass
215 primer not m
89.7 h1000
.007 jump to lands
.002 neck tension on dies

I know it's not a bullet you mentioned but it shoots great.

Wow I used to shoot 185's in my custom RUM and it was shooting 97.5 h1000 real nice. Speeds were up in the 3407 range.

I worked it up and that is the charge it liked, 92 is listed max load listed by Berger. 97.5 is hot I am getting around 3100, but about another year I'm putting a custom barrel on and printing the action see if I can crank it up a little and keep great accuracy

200 AB, 91.5 grains of Retumbo,CCI250,RP brass, COAL 3.781
5-shot group 200 yards size of a dime.

One of my 300 RUM is a Borden Timberline with McMillian stock and Wyatt mag box, brake, Hart barrel and Jewel trigger. I have not shot this rifle as much as the others which is a shame as it is such a pleasure to shoot. With 93gr RL 25, Fed 215M and Barnes TTSX is easily shoots MOA or less at 200 yds at 3450 fps over an Oehler 35 - seems to me a rather fast barrel but it is what it is. I am hoping to try some RL 26 with 215 or 230 Bergers once it warms up a bit.

**** I have my powder charges right but powder type wrong with what I had stated. I was running Retumbo @ those charges. Sorry if anyone has a banana peel for a barrel. Everyone should know how to safely work up to a load but you never know.
