I believe I need to open the lips so the bullet sits "higher". Anybody have an opinions? Accurate mag cip length, cartridge at mag length, xlr chassis and defiance anti action.
I had a similar issue with my .30 LARA a few years ago, and my gunsmith used a home-built tool similar to the one in the videos below.

Anybody have a DIY tool that they've used? I have a small bench vise that might work. Pliers would work, but it would be hard to get the entire length of the lip even.There is nothing unusual about tuning the feed lips on a DBM. They don't always come perfect from the factory so using a simple tool to adjust the width is common.
