This is the opposite of long range hunting, but so far it's been fun to reload for. 7.5" 300 blackout pistol. I have a total of $450 in to it as it sits.

Picked up some Hodgdon CFE BLK and some Hornady 125 SST's. Also had some 200gr ELDX's laying around that I shoot in the 300win mag. There's something not quite right about loading a bullet into a piece of brass that is longer than the brass itself.

I loaded up a few charge weights of the SST's, and one charge weight of the ELDX. Results as follows.

I'm pretty pleased with the results shooting with some Magpul mbus sights at 50m. I think this thing will deserve a red dot. Also zero malfunctions in everything fired so far. The CFE BLK really does work well for cycling the action.
I'm looking at picking up some H110 for the supers if I done get the velocity I'm looking for from the CFE BLK. Now to make a mount for my magnetto speed...

What are you all running for supers in your 300 blackout's?

Supers - Berger 168's and H110. Subs - Berger 210/215 and H110.

Been wanting to try CFE BLK, but I have an 8lb. jug of Alliant 300-MP, but can't find any professional load data for .300 BLK anywhere.

Only load data I could find for CFE BLK was on Hodgdon's website. It's a little on the slow side for supers. I was compressed at 19.5gr with the 125sst seated to the cannelure. I'm pretty sure you could fill a case to max compression with it and any bullet combo and not be over pressure.

I've taken a berger 215 and made the hollow point much larger. I want to do some expansion and feed testing with it. It'd be nice to get an expanding subsonic that doesn't cost a fortune.

Modified Berger 215
