Hello everyone im new to this site, I have a winchester model 70 ranger in 30.06 and have just started reloading, what is everyone loading for both hunting white tail and target shooting for accur?

thanks

52 grs. IMR 4064, CCI BR2 primer, Rem Case, 150 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip will get the deer killing part of the question done and go a long way toward the accuracy department also in many 30-06's.

Work up to as mush as 59 grains of H-4350 with 165 or 168 grain bullets or 57.5 grains with 180's. I use Federal 210 Match primers in Win. Cases and those are very accurate in my rifle. I load those charges with both the Nosler AccuBond or Barnes TSX bullets...

57grns IMR-4831, 180grn ballistic tip. Gets good velocity and seems to shoot well out of all the 30-06 I've tried it in. Should also work well w/ the Accubond.

168gr sierra match king(target) 165sierra game king (hunting) over 57gr IMR4350 with a CCI BR2 primer(benchrest) and winchester brass.Loaded with lee collet dies this gives me 1/2 moa from an out of the box savage116 sporter with a 22" barrel. Its near max so reduce a couple of grains and work up.
good luck Skip
