.280 rem velocity?

For those of you that shoot the straight.280 (not the AI) what kind of velocity can I expect from a 24" barrel. Looking for info on the 160-175 grain bullets. Thanks 1hornhunter

I have not shot the 175 grain bullets, but I have tried the 160 grain Accubonds in my Rem. 700 CDL with a 24 inch. barrel. My loads produced velocities in the 2800 ft/sec range. You can get close to 2900 ft/sec out of my gun but that is pushing it a little too much. I used IMR-7828 powder and I am sure that there are other powders that would also work.
