28 Nosler Magazine

I have a Christensen Arms ELR 28 Nosler. I wanted to change out the internal box to a detachable box mag so I bought the CA bottom metal and an AICS 300 WM magazine. The problem is that mag is approx. 3.72 and the inside of the mag well is approx. 3.86. So, where did I go wrong? Is the 300WM mag the correct one for the 28N?

You bought the wrong magazine. You need an aics sssf 300 rum 3.85" magazine. https://accurate-mag.com/shop/magazines/300-remington-ultra-mag-sssf-magazine/
