.277 Ballistic Tips

I know different weight/caliber BTs can be different. For example, .284 120s hold together better than their weight/SD would suggest. Does anyone have experience with the .277 150 BTs? How do they hold together compared to say 150 Interlocks or 140 Accubonds? They have a muzzle velocity of 3040. Thanks?

I have used all weights in Ballistic Tips in .277" from a 270 & 270 Weatherby. The 150g is a fairly stout bullet when used beyond 150yds, but don't expect the jacket and core to stay together inside 150. If I had the choice, I would opt for the 150g Partition for most shots. The 140g Accubond is a vastly different, tougher, bullet than a Ballistic Tip.

I don't know yet.
Recently acquired a Ruger 77 MKII Stainless with the Zytel boat paddle stock in 270 Win.

I'll be using the 140gr Ballistic Tips for deer this year.

We'll see how it does.
