You launch some 140 grain Accubonds or Bergers at 3200 fps and deer die like they're hit by lightning. What rifle manufacturer is it? Tikka barrels are kinda slow 🐌 but a Browning x-bolt is fast. Tikka's are very accurate so the slightly lower velocity never bothered me much.

Yeah that 130 will hit 3300. I used to get 3344 fps with 61 grains of Rldr 17 and a 130 ttsx. Too bad that powder is discontinued. But the Magpro will get it.

Never tried the grand. Shot Magnum out of it. Did pretty well with heavier bullets. 150s

I may try the 140 grain try something besides accubond i load accubond in my 270 weatherby most of my shots under 300 yards may try a hornady interlock

I had one, best powder was RE17, but it was into excessive pressure very quick. Good round, factory ammo (Winchester) was putrid so steer clear of it.
My 270Bee was way more accurate and faster, so I kept that and sold the WSM.

Cheers.

Just purchased new rifle in 270wsm with 24 inch barrel looking to push a 130 to 140 grain bullet as fast and accurate as i can for deer only any info on good powder and bullet combinations are appreciated. Thanks in advance
Contact their tech support if you use Berger bullets, and they will send you a recommendation list.

Also, RL-17 (same burn rate as IMR 4350) and RL -16 (slightly faster than RL-17) are specifically made for WSM. As with anything else, YMMV. We all have varying experiences and preferences. I have been using RL-17 in my 300 WSM with very succeed for over 10 years now. Good luck!
