I've read that some people had problems with this bullet. I have had no problem, shooting 150gr bergers at 3200fps. And get 0.253 three shot groups. 130grain sst at 3475 group at 1/4 inch. And 110 grain ttsx barnes shoot even smaller at 3765fps. So I'm hoping I'm gana have some success with the 150 gr ablr bullets. They will be shot from my kimber 8400 270 wsm. What I have seen is you either get a super shooter, or you get one that just won't group. I moly all bullets. My berrel has maybe 100 round through it. I've never had a 6 pound 10 ounce rifle that has shot this amazing.. with all kinds of bullet weights. I'm using a leupold 4.5x14 boone n crocket reticle. I've taken whitetails out to 450yrds. I'll be using magpro powder which has shot all good groups. So any advice would be help full, the only rounds I had problems with are the 180 grain woodleighs. At 2760 fps. Ican get another 150 fps put of them and i hope that wil, improve my accuracy. Maybe I'll have to adjust my seating depth to.

So if anyone has shot the ablr noslers. Give me some tips, on,,,,, do I seat close to the lands or a little off? I heard of a guy on here, that shot them at 2900 and got good groups.. then when he went up to 3000fps. It all went to hell. Something I've never heard of. Because in my past experience, the faster it goes the more stable, and accurate the bullet becomes. Thanks for any tips..

Well,
When they were first available to the public, we played with them a bit.

I sent some to Royinidaho who used his 270AM torture test them at rediculously high velocity.

Basically what we found out was the ABLR's in 270 may as well be left to the 270 Win velocities.
Oh, & they're incredibly fragnable. So if you buy into the Berger koolaid philosophy of terminal performance you may like them.
Look up the thread. It's a long one, but informative.

I started load development with them, & RL-22 in a 270WSM & tossed the rest when I saw how fragnable they were, & saw the completion of Roy's testing.

For My personal use, I'll just stick with the 140 Accubonds.
