Hi, new here. My .270 win Sako is getting a new Brux 24" tube. What powders do you like for top velocity and accuracy ?

Yes, RL22 was the powder for the old barrel. Have seen much about 23 and 26 . H4831 shoots well in many .270's. Any experience with the enduron powders?

I have not tried the enduron stuff myself but know a few people using them with good results

I've had good luck with H4831sc and 150gr partitions. Not sure what bullet you're wanting to shoot, but if you're interested in my loading experience for the 270, shoot me a private message and I'd be happy to help.

I'm working up loads with reloder 16 now. Talked to Sierra tech and they are pretty excited about this powder. I'm considering it in my 300 and 6.5 creedmoor as well. Rl 26 gets top velocity without a doubt. I like accubonds eldx and gamechangers as far as bullets go. Best wishes

My plan is to try RL22, 7828SC, H4831 as I have these. Will get RL26 as I love top velocity in my hunting loads. many stellar reports.....

I just started with some IMR 7977 and 140 and 150 grainers. Velocities are looking good so far with comparable accuracy to H4831sc (which is excellent). The velocity is about 50-60fps faster than H4931sc. Never tried the Reloader series powders...the temp insensitivity has put me off so far.

For top accuracy my rifle prefers H4831SC, for top velocity with 150 & 160 you have to try RL26. My 140 grain load is with H4831SC and averages at around 3005 fps, RL23 gives me about 10 more fps but does not exhibit the same level of accuracy. With 130s my featherweight likes IMR4451 and RL16 and then H4350.
