270 Sherman

Anybody run 270 Sherman? What cases do you form from?

Have you tried to make from Lapua 30'06?

Go with 270 Win or 280 Rem brass - 30-06 will end up too short in the neck. Peterson brass is where I'd look, it forms nicely with my 6.5 Sherman.

I've got a new barrel on order in 270 Sherman for a rifle I'm building for my Dad. Looks like I'll be running Nosler brass also. What size bushing are you running in your die with the Nosler? I was told from Sherman I would probably need a 302 bushing depending on brass.

I'll double check. I ditched nosler it was terrible I ended up with 280 ackley brass from perterson and then just formed it but I'll check my bushings and get back to you

No I still go up to 30 cal then back down to .277.
