270 Sherman and light bullets?

Anyone tried 110-130 grainers with the 270 Sherman (long action version)? Everything I've read favors the 150-170 weights but am curious how fast you could push a 110 TTSX, 117 Hammer Hunter, 129 LRX, 130 MTH type bullets?

Maybe Rich will get on here with some first hand experience

Interesting.... havent tried to make it a true laser beam yet. I'm trying to sell mine but just for fun if I have some 110 or 130 I may run a couple just to see what they do.

maybe. But if they're really cooking and you've been shooting already there may not be any barrel life left on that beast ha! What are the rifle specs??

It's a nice rig. If it was left handed I may have already bought it ha ha.

I think they make a pill for that lefthandedness ;)
I guess if I'm going to test a few rounds I needed to put it back together and just so happened a new mark5hd showed up a couple days ago. Might have time monday to give it a go.
