I would rebarrel it through a diff comp like atlus, Bugholes, SAC or switch to the 150 ablr better bullet opens up from 2800 fps down to 1300 vs 1800 and has a better bc.
Probably the best bonded bullet out IMO until you shokt monos

Again the problem with Nosler ab are they are no where to be found.

The reason I'm asking is that I have the 1/10 twist and I have been using 140 ab noslers but they are non existent so wanting to find an alternative for my older 270 Bee. I called Weatherby and asked if they had faster twist barrels- No was the answer the would only twist on 1/10 2 or 3 conture.

I believe it has the wby freebore. Most bullets in the 130-150 range are just barely in the case when you measure with the hornady comparator so it should be the 0.378 freebore
And it's a 1/10 twist.

Agree on the accubond availability and my 270wby loves the 140AB, too.

I'm working on 124 Hammer Hunter load development for mine. Which is to say that I'm still in the process of loading as I'm in no rush to shoot in 105F weather.

Another option you may wish to explore is Dallas Reloads.
