I owned one of these flame throwers about 40 years ago, they get out there around 3100 fps, unless you load your own ammo is flat out pricey. Check out Chuck Hawks reviews for these.gun)
Love the 264, one of my favorites. I was getting 3070 FPS out of mine with RL25. 25.5" tube. Probably could of pushed it more, but I was stacking one on top of the other with that load.
i imagine out of a 24" barrel velocity probably isn't much more than a 270 win thought about getting one anyway just for something different , and yes i do reload so ammo cost would not be so much of an issue
