Anyone running a 25 SST in a shorty, I have a 25 cal, 18 inch barrel and was wondering if it's still worth it velocity/performance wise. Any input is appreciated.

an 18" barrel should still run a 130 class over 3000
Thanks Rich, that's was my threshold to commit to this build.
I have a 26" now and have an another 26" and 18" in the works.
In Short for me, yes it's easily worth it.
18" 25SST with 133EH's at 3000fps with an easy load of h1000 has slightly less wind drift at 1000yards than a 26" 6.5PRC running 147s at 2950fps and less recoil.
IMO Pound for pound the high bc 25cal cartridges punch above their weight for this class of recoil when talking about longer ranges.

Thank you, I've been pondering which way to go with a 25 caliber, Saum vs. PRC Vs. SST. The SST fits so nicely into a short action that's hard to beat. I love my 7 SS, so it might be time to get another Sherman
