243AI powder reccomendations

hello everyone,

I was wondering what powder's you would recommend for a 24 inch barreled 243 AI to launch some 105 amax's. any idea's on obtainable velocity would be appreciated as well. would like to get all I could out of her. Thanks again.

I use Retumbo with the 115 Bergers and get around 3180 in a 28" barreled rifle. I think that H-1000 or maybe Retumbo would be the ticket for shooting the 105's.

Reloader 22 should get you in the 3200fps range in most 243AI's. H1000 will do it as well if your throat is long enough to seat the bullets out.

thanks guys. I've got 4831sc, reloader22 & h1000 on hand. just wanted to make sure there wasn't something more suitable for the shorter barrel length. again, thanks a bunch!!
