.243 h4831sc? h4831? rl17 or 19?

H1000 under a 95 grain Berger Classic Hunter provided excellent results and consistency (.23" groups at 100 yards in a factory Browning A-Bolt youth model) for me in .243 Win. H4831 is a great powder in the standard or SC version. There are several great options. I would start with what you have and switch if you don't see the results you are looking for. If you are looking at buying powder I would suggest giving the H1000 a serious consideration.

H1000 is great for 95-115gr bullets. H4350 is good too
Re17 is very temp sensitive!
I had read in the past that RL 22 was heat sensitive. I have not seen 17 or 19 mentioned as temp sensitive. I have several RL powders, I think 16, 25...for sure 17, 19...and to say never tried any of them yet

Re 22 is not as bad as re17 if that tells you anything. Had great speeds and groups with re17 but do your temp/speed tests as it will change a lot
