What ammo do you like best for killing those? I've had mixed results with target ammo

I love my 22 PCP. You hit one of these S#@T birds with a 22 they are coming apart!

I use my 22 ruger precision rimfire and yellow box s and k suppressed to pop mourning doves , way to much fun but now they have learned and I've got a no fly zone around my house!!

Oh you are lucky. They are a migratory game bird and it is illegal to shoot them with a rifle or out of season for us. Good eating all year round for you in Montana!!
