168 gn SMK 300WM Powder

I am looking for proven powder for launching 168gn SMK at approx 3200-3300fps from a .300 WM. I am chasing a load for a friends Sendero. Mine loves H1000, his is a bit more finicky. I am hoping the masterminds around here may provide some insight. I am not necessarily looking for a pet load, just powder recommendations, however I wont turn down any data if someone is willing to share. His is a Sendero II fluted. We have found very accurate combinations at velocities below 3,000fps and have tinkered with a variety of seating depths but have not been able to do better that .9 MOA. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

seems with the lighter bullets, 165/168 the Reloader 19 and IMR 4350 works good in the 300 win mag. The 180/200 seem to prefer Reloader 22 or IMR 4831/H4831.

I am using H-4350 with 190SMKs and there is still some airspace - it would be a very good pick fore the 168's.

Max for H-4350 would be around 74gr at 3300 fps.

77gr of H-4831 would also get you 3300 fps.

The "H" powders burn very clean and have good temperature stability.

I'd certainly give RL22 a try. Works great for me with 165 gr. Ballistic Tips.
